Carlo Abate holds a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Nijmegen and a postgraduate Master in Artificial Intelligence from the Italian National Research Council (CNR). His expertise includes data analysis, computational modelling, and machine learning. Since joining Deep Blue in 2019, he has contributed to several EU-funded H2020 and SESAR projects focused on aviation, climate impact, risk assessment, transport integration, and air traffic trajectory prediction. He has also worked as a senior consultant with airports and Eurocontrol. He speaks Italian, English, and German fluently.
