Our programme offers a fully online learning experience, combining synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods to ensure flexibility, accessibility, and high academic standards.
The MSc programme may be delivered fully through distance learning, with clear provisions regarding teaching, assessment, required technological equipment and the relevant regulatory framework.
The courses of the MSc programme may be taught 100% through distance learning, based on the total number of teaching hours of the programme.
If the educational process is carried out using asynchronous distance learning methods, these may not exceed 25% of the credit units of the MSc programme, in accordance with article 88 of Law 4957/2022. The percentage is determined by decision of the Assembly following a recommendation by the Coordinating Committee.
The evaluation process for each educational activity may be carried out through written or oral examinations conducted either in person or remotely, as well as through alternative assessment methods, such as assignments and practical tests.
Each student is required to have a computer with internet access, microphone, speaker and camera in order to attend the programme and be assessed. The required equipment may be adjusted according to technological developments.
The specific terms and conditions for organizing the MSc programme through synchronous and asynchronous distance learning methods are set out in the Regulations for Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the University of the Aegean (Government Gazette 4551/B/17.07.2023).
