Associate Professor
J. Jesus Fernandez-Lozano is Associate Professor of Systems
Engineering and Automation at the University of Málaga. He has
over 25 years of experience in robotics and mechatronics
research. His research focuses on mechatronic design, wireless
sensor networks, and the integration of robotics with 5G and next-
generation communications. He has led major projects in robotics
for emergency response with partners such as the Military
Emergency Unit or Vodafone. Author of over 25 journal papers
and 11 patents (7 transferred to industry), he has also organized
flagship events like the European Robotics Forum 2020, and
contributes to European initiatives such as ADRA and One6G on
robotics and future communication systems.
