Izabela Ratman-Kłosinska

Head of Environmental Innovation & ETV

Izabela Ratman-Kłosinska is head of the Office of Projects
Coordination, Marketing and Research Commercialisation and
Manager of Environmental Technologies Verification (ETV) Body–
an accredited inspection body at IETU. She is an environmental
innovation specialist with over 30 years of expertise in
ecoinnovation ecosystems development, stakeholders
engagement strategies, technology verification schemes, and
market uptake of green innovations including technologies for
circular economy. She has established a strong record in driving
innovation processes, supporting evidence-based environmental
policy, and fostering the adoption of sustainable technologies
across sectors. She has contributed to over 30 international
projects, including coordination roles in EU Framework
Programme, LIFE and ERA-NET initiatives, as well as bilateral
projects with the US and Norway. She has also played a key role
in developing and implementing the Environmental Technology
Verification (ETV) scheme at EU and national levels, supporting its
evolution into an international standard and working directly with
industry to accelerate the market uptake of green innovations.
