Organization of Studies

The organization of the MSc program "Digital Circular Economy" is governed by a strictly defined academic and regulatory framework, designed to ensure the quality of education. This section details the structure of the curriculum, the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) units, as well as the institutional operating framework (Regulations, Tuition Fees). Additionally, tools and information are provided for the smooth conduct of the educational process, including the academic calendar and the specifications for the master's thesis.

Academic Calendar & Duration of Study

The Curriculum has a minimum duration of three (3) academic semesters (18 months) and is credited with a total of 90 credits (ECTS). Classes commence every October.

The chronological structure of the studies is defined as follows:

  • 1st Semester (Winter): Begins in early October and concludes in February. It includes 13 teaching weeks followed by the examination period. During this period, students attend core mandatory courses exclusively.

  • 2nd Semester (Spring): Begins in March and concludes in June. Students are required to choose a specialization and elective courses, thus shaping their personal academic profile. The spring examination period follows.

  • 3rd Semester (Research Period): Dedicated exclusively to the preparation of the Master’s Thesis. The process begins with the assignment of a topic and concludes with the public defense and evaluation of the thesis before a three-member committee.

EU Citizens

Registration Fee: €500 (Non-refundable)
€0* FOR THE FIRST 3 CYCLES
  • Current Status: Tuition fees are fully covered by the "3DCIRCULAR" European Program (DIGITAL-2024-ADVANCED-DIGITAL-07).
  • Future Cycles: From the 4th cycle onwards, tuition fees for EU citizens will be set at €5,000.
  • Exemptions: From the 4th cycle, up to 30% of students may be exempt from fees based on socio-economic and excellence criteria (Grade ≥ 7.5/10).

Non-EU Citizens

Registration Fee: €500 (Non-refundable)
€5,000 FULL PROGRAM (Cycles 1-3)
  • Future Cycles: From the 4th cycle onwards, tuition fees for Non-EU citizens will be set at €7,000.
  • Payment Plan: Paid in two (2) equal installments (Start of 1st & 2nd Semester).
  • Scholarships: Potential for scholarships or excellence awards based on Assembly decisions.
  • Note: Non-EU citizens are not eligible for statutory fee exemptions under Law 4957/2022.
