Giorgos Demetriou

Dr Giorgos Demetriou is Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at École des Ponts Business School (Paris). He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from École des Ponts ParisTech and has over 20 years of professional experience in European research policy, innovation governance, and digital transformation, including senior roles at the European Defence Agency, ENISA, and the European Parliament. He has led and coordinated major European research and innovation initiatives and research portfolios exceeding €40 million, contributing to strategic EU policy and innovation frameworks. Dr Demetriou has nearly seven years of experience in distance and online teaching, gained through teaching and executive education activities delivered in graduate (Bachelor) and predominantly postgraduate programmes at leading international institutions, including the University of Cambridge, Harvard Extension School, Hult International Business School, École des Ponts Business School, and Tsinghua University.
